So many faces, so many memories!!!!! It saddens me to see that we have lost peers!! Especially my dear friend Sandra Anaya! I have known her since grammar school. I will cherish my memories of her and her flaca self!!!! I miss you girl!!!!

Elderly couple needs help in the Valley

I need some info on an organization that helps out elderly people in the Valley. My brother works for UPS and has a delivery route in San Juan. He had a delivery at a house that he thought was abandoned, when he went up to knock on the door he noticed that two elderly people were living there with out any electricity. I know it gets very hot in Texas and I can't imagine any one living under those conditions. So if anyone has any info on an organization that might be able to check up on them please respond. I live in Florida so I can't look up any of that info.

Actually if you dial 211 in the valley the phone lists all community assistance programs. There is a program LRGVD Area on Aging that helps them out. 956-682-3481 as well as the local community electric program in the city of edinburg. google the electrical assistant program through each provider. Hope that helps.

Not sure if anyone remembers me, but I do remember alot of you. Wasn't able to make it to the Reunion, but just from seeing all the pics and reading all the threads yall have posted, I feel so much more in touch with whats been going on with everyone. Hey Estevan, this is Jorge, how are you doing? First of all thank you very much for your service to our country, I remember you were going to joing right after high school. I also went into the Army right after school, but was only in for 4 yrs. Looking back I think it was the best thing I ever did, I learned alot of good things, especially to appreciate our country and the freedom that some are trying to take away from us.
